I am honored and flattered to have won the 2013 “Gold Medal Award” for Singapore! My submitted essay for the contest had 104 comments, earning me the Top Blog in the country! (it was close, the second place winner had 98 comments). Earning the gold medal is a big deal here, where every expat has their own blog. No kidding, everyone I know here has a blog. Why? It’s the easiest way to share our experiences with our friends and families around the world.

I love blogging!! I have always wanted to be a writer. In fact, my first major in college was journalism. I have always dreamt of writing a book. This blog is probably the closest I will come to that book, but hey, it works for me!! I have found that I really love blogging! Who knew??
